Brisbane Grammar School

 
    • Independently developed Brisbane Grammar School’s Marketing Strategy, which was externally validated by Clemenger Group – Australasia’s largest, most successful marketing communications company – and approved by the BGS Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team.

    • Edit and support communications (e.g. weekly newsletter articles, biannual Grammar News magazine publications, COVID communications and more).

    • Edit the school’s online weekly newsletter in line with the BGS Style Guide to ensure a consistent tone of voice and grammar across all articles. This includes building the newsletter in the BGS website backend.

    • Write, design and send EDMs using Vision6.

    • Ensure internal and external documents adhere to the BGS Style Guide (written and visual).

    • Liaise with external media agencies to book print, radio and digital advertising.

    • Build relationships across various departments to organise and produce content and help them achieve outcomes (e.g. Boarding, Enrolments, Events, Fundraising, Middle School, Headmaster and more).

    • Manage a significant marketing, publications and photography budget.

    • Plan, budget and devise digital marketing campaigns to promote various events, including Open Day, Virtual Open Day, Virtual Boarding Night and BGS on Tour (more than 20 locations). This includes defining geographic, demographic and psychographic targeting, writing copy variations for different segments and creating graphics, landing pages and videos.

    • Create landing pages on the BGS website for digital advertising to enhance the customer journey.

    • Manage and nurture prospective boarding families database.

    • Source, curate, design, schedule, and publish social media content following the content pillars in the BGS Marketing Strategy.

    • Design social media posts.

    • Write, design and send EDMs using Vision6 for news, publications and events.

    • Photography across various contexts.

    • Cross-department and external stakeholder collaboration to source content and arrange photography.

    • Create landing pages on BGS website for digital advertising to enhance the customer journey.

    • Introduced website translation tools to support international marketing efforts.

    • Design print and digital advertising and organic social media posts (collaborating with the BGS Graphic Designer to produce and refine content where necessary).

Video

The below video was project managed - from ideation to delivery - by Elise Browning. This included pitching the script and vision, coordinating logistics (room bookings, smoke alarm isolations etc), selecting students, collecting and storing parental consent and organising 13 film crew and 350 students across 6.5 days of filming.
